Church Alive Kid’z Church is a ministry directed to our children, ages 3 through 11 years.  Their service is conducted at the same time as the adult worship service, 10:30 a.m. on Sunday Mornings.  Our Kid’z Church meets beside the sanctuary in Sprinkles Ice Cream Store.  Your children will be greeted by Titus, the Tiger and Timothy, the Tucan when they first arrive.  Titus and Timothy love to get and give lots of hugs and high-fives to the children.  Your children will be registered at the refreshment awning (or just inside Sprinkles Ice Cream Store during inclement weather) by one of our Kid’z Church volunteers easily identifiable by their identification badge.  When you register your child(ren) you will receive a token that must be presented in order to pick them up after service.  We ask that only parents or guardians drop off and pick up their children.   This is for your protection and ours.  Children will not be allowed to leave with anyone other than a properly identified parent or guardian.
Kid’z Church workers are called to this ministry by the Lord Jesus Christ and take their work very seriously.  We believe children are our smaller brothers and sisters in Christ and our goal is to help their development as fruitful Christians.  When they move from Kid’z Church to Adult worship, we want them to transition seamlessly.  We have five pillars we build and support this ministry upon:  1) To evangelize each child to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ;  2) To treat each child with respect and dignity and to provide a safe, comfortable and caring environment of worship and instruction in God’s Word;  3) To make worship fun, exciting and life-changing for each child;  4) To develop each child as a disciple of Christ and to encourage their growth in the Lord; and, 5) Help each child in our care to grow into a relationship with Jesus Christ and not simply to babysit or entertain them.
Kid’z Church is vitally important to the overall vision and mission of Church Alive Ministries.  As a parent or guardian, you will witness a change in your child(ren) as they experience the love of Jesus Christ through this vital ministry arm.
