KOFFEE & KOINONIA
This is a little play on words but they are so important. Nothing says, “Welcome” better than a warm cup of coffee, a Danish or a bottle of water when you arrive at Church Alive. To us, ministry does not just begin with the singing. We believe that fellowship with each other is ministry. The Greek word, koinonia means “fellowship” or “partnership” or “communication”. We want you to enjoy our fellowship every Sunday. So, we try to make the best coffee possible and enjoy each other’s company, too. Step up to the awning (or just inside the door during inclement weather) for a steaming, hot cup of joe. Let us slip a Danish in your hand or give you a cold bottle of water. Take some time and stand around and visit with us. We start serving at 10:00 a.m. and, Yes! You can take the coffee inside during worship, too! Our volunteers pride themselves in serving Christ by serving you. The folks have the calling of hospitality and want to serve you. Coffee and Danish is free to our first-time guests. Don’t be bashful! Come make our day by sharing some time with us.
